
Common-sense Voice for Marietta School Board
A lifelong Cobb County resident, husband, and father of two Marietta students, Jeff is running to champion students, support teachers, and represent the families and taxpayers of Ward 3.
Jeff Collins is a native of Cobb County and is running for Marietta School Board to be a voice for students, parents, and grandparents in Ward 3.
Jeff and his wife, Ivy, have proudly raised their two children in the Marietta Schools — from Hickory Hills Elementary and Marietta Sixth Grade Academy to Marietta Middle School and Marietta High School.
Jeff is the eldest grandson of James “Red” Pressley, the inaugural inductee into the Marietta High School Hall of Fame.
He has served in leadership volunteer roles with Marietta Football, Cross Country, and Track & Field. Jeff is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Secondary Education and has built a successful career in freight and logistics. He is an active member of Christ the Redeemer Church in Marietta.
I want our schools to keep winning in literacy, to bring people together, and to steward every dollar with care. Most of all, I believe great schools are built when families and teachers work in partnership—with transparency, involvement, and classrooms where every student is respected and free to learn.
